Two tournaments in Poland

IIHF Congress decided, that during season 2013/14 Poland will be host of two tournaments of IIHF Ice Hockey World Championships: U20 Division IA in Sanok (December 2013) and Women's U18 Division I qualifications (march 2014). Senior Team will be play in Kaunas, Lithuania (Division IB).

Polish Women's National Team finished World Championship Division IB at fifth place. Bronze medal was very closed, but finally Australia won 4:2 (0:0, 2:1, 2:1).

Polish Men's National Team is playing in World Championship Division IB in Donetsk. Our opponents are Lithuania, Estonia, Romania, The Netherlands and Ukraine.

Two wins and two defeats - these are results of Polish Women's Ice Hockey Team after four games in World Championship Div. IIA in Auckland. Poles lost 0:3 vs. Italy, but medal is still possible.
